Ross Joseph Gardner is a hack, there's no question about that. Those who know him best believe he is a fraud. Nevertheless, he continues to write. Most often he writes comics, putting words in balloons that ruin perfectly good art. He also writes and designs videogames. And writes about videogames. He has a lot to say, it seems, but many wish he did not. And here he's trying his hand at prose, having penned an entire Half-Life novel, fuelled by tea and wine and the kind meows of his two cats, Lilly and Shala.
